Due to movements in our Finance Shared Services team we are looking for an Accounts Officer to join our team in Mascot, Sydney.
QBT is an Australian-owned Travel Management Company with offices in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. As experts in simplifying business travel for our clients, we partner with a range of large corporates, small to medium enterprises. In addition to recently, the sole provider of all travel services to the whole of Australian Government.
In this position, you will report to the AP/AR Supervisor, and will primarily be responsible for responsible for the accounts receivable, and BSP refunds/errors. This will include taking ownership of collections and receivables from customers to ensure all items are current. You will also be responsible for invoicing and producing related financial reports.
Working in a dynamic and fast paced office, you will require effective communication and relationship skills to liaise with customers and suppliers nationally. You will draw on your ability to manage multiple tasks and require a “can do” positive attitude.
Skills and Experience Required
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience commensurate with 3+ years working in a similar accounts positions.
- Ability to demonstrate transactional accounts processes
- Intermediate level Excel/spreadsheet skills and great attention to detail are crucial for the role
- Previous travel industry would be highly desirable
