Due to business growth at QBT, we are seeking expressions of interest for a Help Desk Consultant looking for the next move in their travel career. Following on from QBT’s success with being appointed the Sole Travel Management Provider for the Whole of Australian Government, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an evolving TMC.
This a 6 month opportunity to work in a dual role with approximately 80% of the week being taken up with Help Desk Consultant duties and 20% normal Travel Consultant duties.
As a Help Desk Consultant you will be providing assistance to QBT’s travel consultants enabling them to perform their work and assisting them where operational issues arise, as well as being the first level support for all QBT online products and services.
A significant part of the work is ensuring operational standards and processes are accurate and available to travel consultants.
There is also a strong link between both the Quality and Training areas where identified problem areas may need to be attended to and redressed.
This centralised role allows QBT to control and manage critical quality elements of the reservation process.
The role requires a person with strong agency operations knowledge, strong computer knowledge, an inquiring mind, and good inter-personal skills.
