Roles & Responsibilities
Basic Accounting – refunds, reconciliation, payment allocation. Required to do both AUD and NZD bank accounts daily. Responsible for credit card payments, and ensuring you transfer funds between accounts when needed.
Reservations – required to do payments, changes, cancellations, enquiries, cancellation retention, complaints, escalations, afterhours, orgainise staff travel etc. Email turnaround time is inside 24 hours, these emails include amendments, payments, enquiries, complaints, collateral requests, supplier updates etc.
Phone calls – manage the phones each weekday during business hours and the after hours emergency line when trips are running.
Reservations System – Ensure all payments are up to date (including chasing payments), notes are put in each booking, all amendments are executed with the utmost care, all fees are updated in the booking system, etc. It will also be their responsibility to provide weekly/monthly sales reports from the system as requested.
Reporting – It is the responsibility of the Res Manager to create all sales spreadsheets for weekly/monthly/quarterly sales meetings.
Final Documents/Itineraries and pre departure information – create all documents manually and have them distributed manually.
Airline/Resort Manifests – create all manifests for the airlines and resorts. These include name manifests for airlines, resort manifests plus others.
Product – ensure the system is up to date with all product, pricing, current allotments/numbers, control booking status, run reports weekly/bi-weekly to ensure inventory levels are correct.
Marketing support – responsible for providing marketing content for EDM’s, flyers etc

Education: College or University degree preferred
