Australian travel technology venture seals agreement with Connexus Travel.
Aeronology, the new B2B travel transaction technology business headed by former Air Tickets chief, Russell Carstensen, has this morning announced a new long-term technology sharing agreement with Connexus Travel, one of the largest corporate travel businesses in Greater China.
Formerly known as Swire Travel, Connexus was established in 1948 as the first travel agent to be registered in Hong Kong and has operations across North Asia and Greater China.
The agreement with Aeronology covers the use of all distribution technology applications provided by the company. Carstensen said: “Asia was always going to be our focus for 2020, especially North Asia, and with our recent decision to be multilingual, starting with traditional and simplified Chinese, it was a natural connection to work with Connexus Travel”.
