MARKET demand for more variety in cruising options has encouraged Wendy Wu Tours to introduce a new selection of short cruises with a dedicated Indochina cruising section in their recently released 2014/15 Vietnam brochure.
Managing director Alan Alcock said that part of the demand came from past passengers who had an introduction to the region via land and were looking for a cruise experience of the same standard and quality as the land tours.
He adds, “Cruising is such a growing market at the moment, that it made sense for us to increase our range of cruise itineraries across our entire brochure range”.
This new program, as well as new Vietnam beach stay packages and Borneo short stays, is featured in WWT’s new 2014 Vietnam brochure, which also covers Cambodia, Laos, Thailand Myanmar, Borneo and Singapore.
Cruising is not WWT’s only growth area. In 2014 the company will also operate additional departures of a number of tours in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam and a new 15-day group tour called Ancient Thailand, focused on the north-east of the country with visit to more less visited areas, perfect for second time visitors.
Also new is the inclusion of deluxe Indochina group tours which offers travellers a high-end tour at deluxe properties and offer selected special dinners. There are four tours to choose from including the new Northern Wonders which includes a two night Au Co Cruise in Halong Bay.
