A group of agents recently experienced a taste of Brazil during a 7-day famil courtesy of Tempo Holidays and LAN Airlines.
The group spent three nights in Rio de Janeiro staying at famous Copacabana Beach and two nights in Buzios – a quaint fishing village around 2.5 hours north of Rio.
Highlights included a Favela Tour of the dense shanty towns of Santa Marta – one of Tempo’s new sightseeing tours in 2013 – a full day tour of Corcovado Mountain to visit Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain, and a stop at the Chinese Vista for magnificent views of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches.
The agents also enjoyed a half-day trolleycar tour of the breathtaking beaches and crystal clear waters of the Buzios peninsula and hotel inspections including the Casas Brancas, a hip and charming boutique hotel nestled in the hills overlooking the stunning bay of Buzios.
All agents were first time travellers to Brazil.
“It was a unique experience and I can’t wait to not only sell Brazil more in the future, but go back as soon as I can,” Jetset Leongatha agent Jill Carmody said.
