RIDERS, officials and dignitaries involved in this year’s Tour de France were treated to an exclusive Qatar Airways A330 charter flight from Grenoble to Paris on Sunday morning ahead of the final stage of the three-week long race. QR is the official airline of the Tour de France, and its ceo Akbar Al Baker was one of the first to get his hands on a highly sought after autographed yellow jersey from the race winner, Australia’s own Cadel Evans. For the record, Evans was one of the few riders to receive a Business Class upgrade. |
