AUSTRALIA is believed to be the first country in the world to ban the landing of noisy heavylift Antonov freighters at major airports, with existing AN124 and AN225 services to be banned at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth from 01 Sep - along with Boeing 727 freighters.
