The Globus family of brands scored a hole in one this week, hosting another successful annual Golf Day at the Pymble Golf Club in St Ives.
Teeing off were 120 travel industry members from New South Wales, interstate, New Zealand, Singapore and Fiji, with fierce competition between 30 teams. Among the guests was media personality Deborah Hutton, and Fox Sports commentators Greg Clark, Nick McArdle, Warren Smith and Sean Maloney. Also present was Chris Lethbridge, Emirates Regional Manager, New Zealand. The winning team with a score of 54.25 included Matthew Hickey – Harvey World Travel Katoomba; Darren Wilson – Harvey World Travel Katoomba; Deryk Lee – Escape Travel Eastgardens; Gerry Gignarellea – Harvey World Travel Corrimal. This is the second year running that Matthew and Darren have taken home the trophy, with both playing in the winning team in 2012. Each member of the group won a Globus family of brands Champion 2013 golf bag and Platinum Golf Buddy GPS unit.
