Further industry recognition for MTA – Mobile Travel Agents this week with the company scoring triple success at the Insight Vacations High Achiever Awards night in Brisbane.
MTA collected the ‘Top Groups Agency (Queensland)’ and ‘Top 10 Agency’ Awards in addition to earning an Insight Vacations ‘Elite Agency’ status based on a 150-plus individual passenger Insight Vacations product sales performance. MTA is one of only seven companies to have achieved ‘Elite Agency’ status in Australia Adding further lustre to its success, MTA consultant Alycia Papadopoulos was recognised as Insight Vacations’ top selling groups agent in Queensland. Accepting the awards on behalf of the company MTA Managing Director, Karen Merricks paid tribute to Alycia. “This really is a great reward and acknowledgement of her hard work and her dedication to MTA,” Ms Merricks said. This latest string of awards adds further feathers to the MTA cap, the company in recent weeks being named Virtuoso’s ‘Top Producer Australia and New Zealand’. And just last week MTA added serious weight to its senior executive with the appointment of highly regarded Don Beattie to the role of CEO.
