There was a real buzz at one of Sydney’s Chinese restaurants last Friday evening when the NSW product management team of Flight Centre Limited gathered to receive a number of achievement awards. The Buzz Night, sponsored by the Macau Government Tourist Office, was attended by 20 staff with MC for the evening, Flight Centre Product Leader (NSW and the ACT) Lisa Zahra, highly commending the team for its performances throughout the year. With more than 1500 shops and businesses in nine countries, Flight Centre Limited is Australasia’s best known travel agency group. It was appropriate that the Macau Government Tourist Office sponsored the event as Flight Centre Limited will hold its annual 2014 global ball at the former Portuguese enclave. More than 3000 managers and high achievers are expected to attend the gala event. During the recent Buzz Night at Marigold, Ben Zaubzer, marketing manager of the Macau Government Tourist Office (Australia and New Zealand), provided an informative presentation on Macau for the group in preparation for next year’s much anticipated visit. Those to attend the Buzz Night were Lisa Zahra, Brent Saunders, Brett Massingham, Chris De La Torre, Chris Fenton, Chris Neill, David Key, Heather Pryde, Jasmine Davies, Joanne Davies, Luke Webster, Mark Starr, Mat Kelleher, Michael Kubler, Nathan Salhani, Peter McDougall, Sharon Dalitz, Timothy Jackson and Wayne Sorridimi. Flight Centre Limited marketing manager Enzina Scarcella was also there along with Flight Centre event manager Rebecca Cushing and MGTO’s Ben Zaubzer and Mike Smith. |
