The Australian Domestic Symposium (ADS) recently held two events – a breakfast expo in Wamberal and a trivia night in Charlestown, both held on Wednesday 21st August. The purpose of the events was to provide exposure to retail travel agents on some of Australia’s key tourism products and brands, with sales representatives from Driveaway Holidays, AAT Kings, APT, Captain Cook Cruises, Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, Coral Princess Cruises, Great Southern Rail, Hayman Island, Sunlover Holidays, Spirit of Tasmania & Cable Beach Club.
The breakfast expo was held at the Breakers Country Club in Wamberal from 7:30-10:30am, and the trivia event was held at Charlestown Bowling Club that evening from 6:00-8:30pm. We had approximately 90 retail travel agents attending both events from the surrounding areas. There were some great prizes on offer, including two major holiday prizes for Cable Beach Club. The trivia night was hosted by APT’s very own Aaron Christian, and the agents were treated to a spanish serenade by Driveway Holidays’ Jose Solana Del Rio! |
