United Airlines helped bring the USA’s 4th July Independence Day celebrations a little closer to Australia yesterday with their annual agency trivia night. Over 150 travel consultants were invited to test their knowledge on United Airlines, California, NYC and San Francisco Airport as well as other subjects such as Pop Culture and US Geography. Representatives from Visit California, NYC & Co and San Francisco Airport supported the evening with presentations, questions and prizes.
The competition was fierce, but in the end Pip Cormack from Flight Centre’s Corporate Traveller proved she knew more than most about the US and United Airlines and was rewarded with a fabulous trip for two to New York with United Airlines where she will be staying at the Wellington Hotel. The runners-up did not go home empty handed but received some well-deserved prizes compliments of a number of sponsors including the Handlery and Radisson Hotels. Another trivia night is planned for later in the month for travel consultants in Melbourne.
