July 4, 2013
China Southern Airlines threw its support behind Australia’s ethnic and indigenous communities in Canberra last night by giving $40,000 worth of air tickets to the winners of the 25th annual Ethnic Business Awards.
Three ‘Champion of Champions’, who were chosen from the winners of the award’s Indigenous Business, Large Business and Small Business categories over the past 24 years, received two Business Class return tickets from their chosen Australian port to London, Paris, Amsterdam or Los Angeles on the airline’s Canton Route.
Speaking at the event in the Great Hall at Parliament House, China Southern Regional General Manager Australia/New Zealand Henry He said the airline was honoured to take part in the 25th anniversary of the event.
“China Southern is very impressed with the spirit of these awards and we’re thrilled to be able to carry the dreams of this year’s Champions of Champions,” Mr He said.
