There were smiles all round in Shanghai this month when four groups of Australian travel retail agents converged on Shanghai to celebrate China specialist Helen Wong’s Tours 25th Anniversary. And making a surprise appearance to welcome the 84 guests for the gala event at the Sigma Film Club was Helen Wong herself. “I hope you enjoyed your China and Vietnam experiences,” she said speaking of the four different familiarisation itineraries the agents had just completed. “All the hotels and tour arrangements were as customers received on our programs,” she added, referring to the high quality. “I feel China is an ideal location to thank all the agents who have supported us over the past 25 years.” Three of the Helen Wong’s Tours familiarisations were devoted to China, one centred on bustling Shanghai, another on capital Beijing, the third on a Yangtze cruise through the breathtaking Three Gorges. The fourth familiarisation focussed on Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), with all four groups meeting in Shanghai for the mega gathering. |
