Princess Cruises brought Japan to Sydney today, hosting a special themed day in its Sydney offices to celebrate the cruise line’s new season of Japanese cruises.
Princess Cruises Customer Service Centre staff decked their office with Japan-inspired decorations and dressed in kimonos, whilst enjoying a lunch of sushi.
Prizes were handed out for the best-dressed team member, as well as the maker of the best origami animal and the winner of a special quiz on Japan.
The cruise line recently announced a dramatic expansion of its 2014 Japan cruise program, which will feature two ships – Diamond Princess and Sun Princess – cruising from three Japanese homeports.
Princess Cruises Commercial Director in Australia Alan Stuart said the Japan program featured a range of exciting options for Australian travellers including innovative seven-day cruises from the northern coastal town of Otaru, located outside of Sapporo.
“Princess Cruises are the destinations experts, so it’s great to have a bit of fun to celebrate the many destinations we visit and the types of cruises we offer,” Mr Stuart said. “Plus our team look great in their kimonos.”
