Accor’s TNQ properties Novotel Palm Cove Resort, Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort and Pullman Reef Hotel Casino partnered up with Tiger Airways to celebrate the new direct daytime daily Melbourne Cairns route launched on April 25 just in time to promote winter in the tropical north. A group of five Melbourne journos were treated to destination highlights including the new Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre due to open in June, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Kuranda scenic Railway, rafting on the Barron River, Cairns Tropical Zoo and a visit to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures. Pullman pulled out the WOW factor when pre-dinner drinks in a suite included a ‘Croc in the bathtub and a pet Python from ‘The Rainforest Dome’.
