In conjunction with Malaysia Airlines, Asia Escape Holidays organised a group of top agents to spend 4 days on a famil to Kota Kinabalu. The group inspected a number of hotels including the Pacific Sutera Hotel, Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu, Gaya Island Resort, Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort and Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort. However it was not all hard work – there was plenty of time to experience the best Sabah soaking up the sun by the stunning Gaya Island Resort pool. The other highlight of the trip was a visit of the Orangutan Rehab Centre. Situated inside Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort, the 64-acre Nature Reserve is the home to the much-loved Orangutan as well as a range of Sabah wildlife. It is a must see for all visitors who want to experience the unique wonders of Borneo. The trip gave the agents an insight into Sabah and provided them first-hand product information and experience to pass on to their colleagues and clients. |
