TravelManagers is well respected in the industry for its family approach in the way it operates but TravelManagers’ Finance Manager, Tanyu Cilek and Personal Travel Manager Kylie McDougall are now living and breathing this 24/7, after marrying on 21 April.
The couple who will honeymoon travelling around Turkey for three weeks were married at picturesque Clarke’s Point Reserve, on the harbour foreshore at Woolwich with the harbour bridge and city skyline as a backdrop, with the reception on the other side of Sydney Harbour in the historic suburb of Lilyfield. The wedding guests included many of TravelManagers team, including Chief Executive Joe Araullo and Chairman, Barry Mayo.
Tanyu says he began working at TravelManagers in 2006 and thought so highly of TravelManagers’ model and the way they worked that he planted the seed in his wife’s to be mind.
“I encouraged her to take the leap and I think she will agree with me that she’s never had a reason to look back after having a hugely successful four years as a personal travel manager.”
Kylie says Tanyu can be very convincing at times and 99 per cent of the time it pays off.
“We both love our work and are so happy; it was the best move becoming part of the TravelManagers’ family. I must say though, he didn’t need to convince me to marry him at all, that was easy! It was wonderful being able to share the day with so many of the TravelManagers’ people as they really are part of our family.”
