Hamilton Island has wrapped up its February Spoilt Bratz sales campaign, yesterday naming Gretel Hawtrey of Flight Centre Mona Vale the lucky winner of $10,000. Spoilt Bratz exclusively rewards Flight Centre Ltd travel agents for every room night booked and deposited across the Island’s five primary properties; Palm Bungalows, Reef View Hotel, Beach Club, qualia and Hamilton Island Holiday Homes. Director of Leisure Sales for Hamilton Island, Kathryn McDougall, said: ‘Spoilt Bratz has now been running for nine successful years, and is always a hit with Flight Centre agents. This year saw a 12% increase in bookings from 2012, demonstrating the continued popularity of Australian destinations.’ In addition to the major draw, four prizes were awarded to the top Hamilton Island room night sellers for each of the four weekly periods of the campaign. Andie Davey from Escape Travel Traralgon VIC, Nicolette Spencer from Flight Centre Pacific Fair QLD, Elena Novak from Escape Travel Lismore NSW and David Billings from Flight Centre Groups, VIC were the four lucky agents who each won themselves a two-night escape to Hamilton Island, valued at $880 each. 28 daily prize draws of 40,000 Preferred Rewards points were also awarded to agents, bringing the Spoilt Bratz overall prize pool to over AU$24,000. |
