Twenty two of the top performing STA Travel agents from Australia, USA and UK recently set out to discover the Scottish highlands and culture, as a part of a 10 day Haggis Adventures travel familiarisation.
The group embarked on a journey around the highlands visiting locations such as Edinburgh, Isle of Sky and Glencoe, enjoying picture-perfect weather and presenting Scotland at its best. Guided by a passionate local Scotsmen named, Don, the group learned there’s more to Bonnie Scotland than haggis, lochs and whiskey, taking in the amazingly rich history, culture, nightlife and food. The group also joined in to a local ceilidh, enjoying its Gaelic folk music and dancing. The group experienced a range of Scottish accommodation options, from a luxury stay at the Royal Highlander in Inverness to a budget-friendly hostel in Fort Augustus, Morags Lodge also referred to as one of the world’s best. |
