Travel Counsellors familiarisation trip with Royal Caribbean In
March 5, 2013
Ten Travel Counsellors have just returned from a familiarisation trip on-board the Royal Caribbean ship the Radiance of the Seas.
The five night trip which was exclusive to Travel Counsellors gave an insight into what the ship has to offer. They were given a glimpse of what their customers could expect, if they were to book a cruise on-board the Radiance of the Seas.
Ian Silk, a Travel Counsellor based in Melbourne said: “This was the first time I have visited a Royal Caribbean ship. It was a great opportunity to experience first-hand why my customers should choose this company and even this ship. Like many travel advisors I’d read all about Royal Caribbean as a brand but actually being there has made a big difference and I feel like I’ve learnt a lot.”
The group have reported that a particular highlight was a night at the Chef’s Table. It is an exclusive evening which can be booked by any guests. A five course meal is cooked by an executive chef for between 12 and 16 people. The chef talks guests through how to re-create the meal at home. There is even a wine sommelier who matches wine to each course.
Suzana Blazevska, from Travel Counsellors Head Office who accompanied the Travel Counsellors said: “What a truly amazing trip, thank you to Royal Caribbean for giving us the opportunity to experience such a wonderful ship. It was a highly educational trip and provided valuable insight for our Travel Counsellors.”
