The Africa Safari Co’s first famil to Kenya for 2013
March 5, 2013
This lucky group of Travel Agents have just returned from The Africa Safari Co’s first educational for 2013 to Kenya. This year we are offering 12 educationals to the African continent to ensure all our agents are fully trained. During this trip the group visited Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru and the World famous Masai Mara. Tourist experiences included feeding the giraffes, visiting the Elephant orphanage and being treated to a massive meal at Carnivores – we certainly did not leave disappointed! The wildlife was amazing with 1000’s of pink flamingos on the lake, rhinos is abundance and the highlight of our game viewing was a sighting of 12 adult lions bringing down a hippo. We saw plenty of cheetahs and Hyenas. The evening show ‘ the Battle of Toto’ as we named it, was listening to a leopard and a lioness having a standoff over a Baboon a few metres from our tent at Mara Toto Camp – an adrenaline-charged sound at 3am not to be forgotten!
