APT’s commitment to the retail travel networks was aptly demonstrated this year by the company’s largest agent famil program, according to APT’s National Sales Manager, Susan Haberle.
“We hosted more retail selling consultants than ever before with 250 agents experiencing our product,” said Ms Haberle. “Our passengers may be doing their research through brochures and online, but they refer to agents to pull everything together, including their private pre and post APT tour arrangements.”
“It is imperative that our agency networks experience our product and in turn educate their colleagues across the country.”
APT famils included Europe River Cruising, Alaska, APT and Travelmarvel Canada, The Kimberley, Central Australia, South Africa, South America, APT and Travelmarvel Vietnam and West Coast USA Air Cruising.
One of the final famils for the year was this Flight Centre group which experienced Vietnam and Cambodia, APT AmaLotus style.
While experiencing the cities of Saigon, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, they cruised for seven nights on the fabulous Mekong in 5-Star luxury, visiting floating markets, local villages and factories, temples and monasteries, appreciating local culture and the ever friendly locals, while onboard they enjoyed great food, entertainment and the comfortable suites and facilities of this new ship.
