FEDERAL Minister for Transport Anthony Albanese says the proposed Melbourne to Brisbane high-speed rail corridor (TD 05 Aug) stenciled on popular versions in Europe and China, could make a “substanital difference” in travelling time, cutting a journey from Melbourne’s CBD to Sydney CBD to only three hours, or from Sydney to Newcastle to 30 mins.
