QF to once again operate year-round international services from WA capital.
Qantas has just confirmed its return to the Perth-Singapore route, with five weekly return 737 flights effective from 26 June.
QF International ceo Gareth Evans made the announcement while inspecting progress at the carrier’s new Perth domestic Business Lounge which is expected to open later this year.
“We know how important it is for West Australian business travellers to have seamless access to Asia so we’re delighted to be able to offer the Perth-Singapore route with a schedule and aircraft type that will make it economically viable,” Evans said.
The new flight will arrive into Singapore at 5.20pm, giving good connections via various QF airline partners into Tokyo, Shanghai and Delhi.
The Perth-Singapore route was terminated in May 2014, with today’s relaunch including celebratory fares of $199 one way in economy class.
