Australian industry input sought for global NDC study.
AFTA ceo Jayson Westbury has just confirmed that Australian travel agency owners will be asked to participate in a worldwide survey about IATA’s New Distribution Standard (NDC).
AFTA, together with travel agency associations from South Africa, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, the UK, Spain, India and Brazil are working with IATA on the project, which will feed into a report due for release in June.
“There has been a lot of talk about NDC across the industry and the globe for the past three or more years, and this survey and report will present the views of travel agents and issues that may be of concern or important to agents,” Westbury said.
“I really encourage all AFTA member agency owners to take part in the survey, which will be emailed directly to the AFTA membership tomorrow,” he said.
