Show doubles in size in its third year.
The 2016 Travel Industry Exhibition will take place in both Sydney and Melbourne, with the organisers confirming a full two-day program in each city following the success of the Luna Park Sydney event earlier this year.
To be held at Melbourne’s Peninsula Docklands on Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 July 2016, and a week later at Luna Park Sydney on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 July, the shows will bookend the National Travel Industry Awards gala dinner.
As well as a full complement of exhibitors covering travel industry products and services, the shows will once again feature an extensive education program, while there will also be networking opportunities to build in the highly acclaimed Travel Daily 21st Birthday Celebration this year. In 2016 this will expand to become the annual Travel Daily’s Christmas in July and is certain to be a must-attend event.
AFTA is supporting the development of the educational program, which will provide key updates for travel agents and industry suppliers.
“AFTA is committed to increasing the industry’s education, training and professionalism. By showcasing expert speakers the event will provide key insights and contacts to help grow your business,” said AFTA gm Gary O’Riordan.
Exhibition & Trade Fair’s head of portfolio development, David McCarthy said both exhibitions would focus on the latest innovations and trends in destinations, accommodation, air services, technology, cruising, tours, recruitment, industry organsiations and more.
