Air New Zealand set to make announcement about its VAH shareholding.
Trading in Virgin Australia shares has just been suspended at the company’s request, pending an announcement by Air New Zealand about its stake in the carrier.
VAH has requested the halt remain in place until the announcement is made or the commencement of ASX trading tomorrow, whichever comes earlier.
Air NZ is one of three major carriers holding a stake in Virgin Australia, with its stake of 25.9% alongside the 24.18% held by Etihad and 22.79% held by Singapore Airlines.
