World Aviation Systems and Global Aviation Services purchased by Alysandratos family.
Helloworld has just announced an agreement to sell its airline representation businesses to World Aviation Holdings.
HLO ceo Andrew Burnes said the decision was “in accordance with strategy going forward to focus on the core businesses of Helloworld Limited, including acquisitions to enhance our brand portfolio and the ongoing review and sale of non-core businesses”.
He said the airline representation brands, World Aviation Systems and Global Aviation Services, were not core to the broader Helloworld business nor material to its results.
The purchaser is a newly formed company called World Aviation Holdings Pty Ltd, which is owned by Spiros and Irene Alysandratos. The Alysandratos family’s Sintack Pty Ltd is also a significant shareholder in Helloworld Limited.
