Webjet Limited has reported a 42% increase in EBITDA, outpaced by a 61% rise in NPAT for H1 FY19.
Webjet Limited has declared a record first half performance, with a 42% increase in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to $58m.
The company reported a net profit after tax (NPAT) of $38.3m, up 61% and revenue grew 33% to $175.3m.
The period also saw accommodation supplier WebBeds’ EBITDA more than double year-on-year to $30.1m.
Managing Director John Guscic said “this was another outstanding result for our business”.
“Following the acquisitions of JacTravel and more recently Destinations of the World, our increased global size and scale means we have been able to shift our focus from growing market share to pursuing more profitable growth,” Guscic said.
