Helloworld New Zealand TTV expands by NZ$300 million after recent additions.
Helloworld Travel Limited has just announced an agreement with NZ Travel Brokers, which will see the group join the Helloworld NZ network from June 2019.
The addition follows other new Helloworld members in New Zealand including Gilpin Travel and Barlow Travel which switched in late December, as well as Atlas Corporate Travel and last week’s outright purchase of Williment Travel.
Helloworld said the additions follow the “break-up of the First Travel Group”, which is now majority owned by Express Travel Group.
“The total combined annualised TTV coming from this expansion, under the HLO NZ networks, is approximately NZ$300 million, representing over 65% of the former First Travel Group’s TTV,” according to a just-released Helloworld ASX announcement.
HLO CEO Andrew Burnes said Helloworld now had 580 agency members in NZ, including 280 travel brokers.
