Wendy Wu Tours suspends tours until mid-April. Customers given 100% credit.
Wendy Wu Tours has advised that it will suspend all tours until April 15 with immediate effect.
As Australia’s largest tour operator to Asia, the suspension has come at the one of the busiest travel periods for the company.
Wendy Wu Tours will offer customers 100% credit towards a future tour taken prior to December 2021 less any third-party payments that are unrecoverable.
“In the wake of the current situation, the industry finds itself in unprecedented times,” says Australia Managing Director Andrew Mulholland. “Wendy Wu Tours will suspend tours until mid-April. We will continue to review this constantly and adjust accordingly.
The health and wellbeing of our customers is priority, as has been the case for 25 years. We wish to assure our customers and agent partners that we are working tirelessly and negotiating with all third parties including ground operators, airlines, hotels and government authorities to achieve the best possible outcome for all our customers.
We have had a global team coordinating this updated policy, whilst also facilitating changed travel plans for a number of impacted passengers on the ground in our destinations.”
Current travel policies will be assessed daily and adapted as required with close review of information provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and The World Health Organisation (WHO).
