The Travel Corporation to add new domestic guided holidays.
The Travel Corporation (TTC) is expected to tomorrow formally announce an expanded domestic range of guided holidays, with the offering to be available across the portfolio of brands including Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Contiki.
The AAT Kings Group will manage the ground handling services for its sister companies in Australia and New Zealand, with Contiki also expanding its trip choices with the additional option of rail in some areas.
Travel agents and their customers will be able to redeem existing Future Travel Credits on the new range, with AAT Kings Group CEO Matthew Cameron-Smith saying “we’re showing our commitment to the domestic market and our agent network by expanding our footprint”.
He said the domestic pivot would give TTC brands the largest touring network in Australia, adding “we live and breathe these communities that we visit and strongly believe in tourism and the very positive role it plays in the economic recovery”.
TTC hopes to launch its expanded domestic range within the coming weeks, in line with the easing of travel restrictions. Once trans-Tasman flights resume the brands will also expand their NZ range for Australian travellers.
