Global restructure sees WWT MD Australia depart after nine months.
Wendy Wu Tours (WWT) has just announced details of a reshuffle of its worldwide business including reporting lines and local leadership, with the move seeing Andrew Mulholland leave the business at the end of the month.
Mulholland, who only rejoined Wendy Wu in March this year, saw his role pivot from driving strong growth to urgently and safely coordinating the repatriation of more than 1,400 customers back home to Australia.
Since then he has also led the team through a significant process of business transformation as well as resizing operations to better meet the challenges of 2020, the company said.
The restructure will see Commercial Director Lauren Wardle appointed to the newly created role of Wendy Wu Tours Country Manager Australia, reporting to UK-based Glen Mintrim who will take on the role of Global CEO. John Warr, also based in the UK as Global Sales Director, will support local sales initiatives.
Wendy Wu thanked Mulholland for his strong leadership and people management skills, which had led the business through one of its toughest phases.
