Norwegian Prima departures on sale now for northern summer 2022.
Norwegian Cruise Line has this morning revealed the highly anticipated Norwegian Prima, the first of a new six-strong class of ships which will set sail starting from August next year.
Carrying 3,215 passengers, the innovative vessel is being described as a “game-changer for NCL” with more wide-open spaces, thoughtful and stunning design and a variety of new onboard experiences.
NCL CEO Harry Sommer said that despite not having sailed in over 12 months, “we never stopped working and innovating, we never once pressed pause”. Prima will offer 13 suite categories, the brand’s largest ever inside, oceanview and balcony staterooms, and an elevated Haven enclave of 107 suites located at the aft of the vessel with private elevators and an exclusive Haven sundeck and infinity pool.
A massive Ocean Boulevard wraps around the entire deck on level eight, featuring an open-air Indulge Food Hall with 11 dining venues as well as an outdoor sculpture garden and two infinity pools close to the ocean’s surface. Two Oceanwalk glass bridges will also carry guests as though they are walking on air over the water.
Additional onboard dining venues will include Onda by Scarpetta, Los Lobos and The Local Bar & Grill, all offering both indoor and outdoor seating.
Itineraries in northern Europe and the UK as well as the Caribbean are on sale now, with Prima currently under construction at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Marghera, Italy.
