Trees Adventure to become part of Experience Co.
Experience Co has just announced a $55 million capital raising, with most of the proceeds being used to fund the acquisition of Trees Adventure, described as “Australia’s leading operator of zip-lining and rope obstacle courses in tree canopies”.
The deal is said to add diversity to the company’s existing customer base, with Experience Co CEO John O’Sullivan saying “this acquisition forms part of our ongoing strategic growth plan and builds on our strong business base, providing us with new access to an intrastate leisure and recreation market less impacted by state and international border closures”.
Trees Adventure will form the cornerstone of a new “Family Adventure” division at Experience Co, complementing its Far North Queensland Great Barrier Reef division, the Skydiving division and the Premium Adventure division which incorporates the recently acquired Wild Bush Luxury and Maria Island Walk experiences.
