Full QF First Class offering to be reinstated from 27 March.
Qantas has today previewed the new cabin layouts in its flagship Airbus A380 aircraft, which will take to the skies later this month on the Sydney-Los Angeles route.
So far four QF A380s have returned from the Californian desert where they were mothballed in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
The reconfigured superjumbo layout sees the entire top deck of the aircraft dedicated to 70 Business Class suites and a 60-strong Premium Economy cabin, while the lower deck is shared by the 14-seat First Class cabin and refreshed Economy class seating.
Qantas Chief Customer Officer, Stephanie Tully, confirmed that the Sydney and Melbourne International Business Lounges would also reopen on 27 March, while First Lounges in Australia will revert to the full premium offering with spa treatments, a curated a la carte dining menu and seasonal cocktails.
As well as Sydney-Los Angeles, the Qantas A380 will also operate flights from Sydney to London via Singapore from June this year, Tully confirmed.
