The hotel company is set to take over the Burnham Beeches, Sherbooke mansion in the Dandenong Ranges.
Six Senses will open its first Australian property in mid-2025, in the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne.
The Six Senses Burnham Beeches “master plan” will see the property’s namesake mansion restored and reopened, alongside an additional collection of venues.
The 1930s mansion, which was originally built for aspirin sales magnate Alfred Nicholas, will initially reopen with 43 guest accommodations, although additions such as a premium glamping offering could see the property expand to 82 keys.
