Former Victorian Tourism Minister joins Helloworld Board.
Helloworld has just announced the appointment of Martin Pakula as an independent non-executive director.
Pakula, who was Victorian MP for Keysborough prior to the recent State election, stepped down from his portfolio responsibilities in June after about 17 years in Parliament. He was Victoria’s Minister for Tourism Sport and Major Events from 2018 through to 2022 and becomes a director of Helloworld effective immediately.
The company also today issued a trading update, saying business continues to improve with $3.2 million in EBITDA earnings in October. Total transaction value for the month was $227 million, while year-to-date revenue totalled $41.6 million, up 180% on the prior corresponding period for continuing operations.
