Matches advisors seeking to sell luxury travel with Virtuoso agencies expanding their teams.
Virtuoso has just announced that next month it will introduce a new recruitment hub to assist its members in Australia and New Zealand to boost their advisor ranks.
The program will include an online portal based on a proprietary tool, where potential applicants can complete a brief 30 minute course to “make sure that Virtuoso is the right network for them,” according to the group’s regional GM Fiona Dalton.
Dalton announced the move at the 2023 Virtuoso Owner Managers Conference which has kicked off this afternoon at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa – the first overseas gathering for Virtuoso Australia and New Zealand since 2019.
Potential candidates are automatically matched with Viruoso member agency criteria, who will receive referrals that they can follow up directly with applicants. Dalton said a successful beta test of the platform with Virtuoso Member Advisory Boards across the globe had been very succesfful.
She said Virtuoso would market the tool on behalf of its members, who will also have the opportunity to participate in a six month co-investment program to promote the new program in Australia and New Zealand.
Initial targets are experienced advisors wanting to join a Virtuoso agency, as well as travel advisors returning to the industry, but “in time we’ll turn our attention to those new to the industry as well,” Dalton confirmed.
The opening session of the Virtuoso Forum also welcomed several new members to the group including Bay Travel, Travel Inspirations, Destination HQ, Celestial Travel and a new “Luxe by itravel” brand led by Steve Labroski.
