Luxperience to become part of FCTG’s growing luxury ecosystem.
Flight Centre Travel Group has just announced the acquisition of the Luxperience luxury travel event from Diversified Communications Australia.
The company said Luxperience would be positioned within its Luxury Travel Collection, which also includes the Travel Associates and Scott Dunn brands, and would continue to operate as a standalone business entity.
Luxperience was founded in 2012 by former Travelcorp owner Helen Logas, and acquired by Diversified Communications six years later. The show ran on an annual basis until 2019, with virtual events taking place in 2021 and 2022.
Flight Centre will revive the in-person show, kicking off with a boutique version scheduled for ICC Sydney from 13-17 November this year, under the leadership of Event Director Lynn Ormiston who will continue to lead the business under its new ownership.
