Non-stop flights from Perth to the French capital to debut in July 2024.
Qantas has just announced a new direct service between Australia and Europe, with year-round Perth-Paris flights set to take off in July next year.
The 17-hour route will initially operate four days per week over the summer European peak season, moving to three weekly flights from mid-August 2024.
Qantas CEO Vanessa Hudson said the move followed the success of QF’s non-stop Perth flights to London and Rome, with the new route seeing QF return to Paris for the first time in almost 20 years.
TIckets go on sale today, with Hudson noting that some of the first customers on the flights will be Australian athletes heading to Paris to compete at the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games.
