EK expansion of Australian operations to add 6,900 weekly seats.
Emirates will add a second daily Perth-Dubai flight from 01 December, as part of an expansion which will grow the carrier’s Australian capacity by more than 340,000 annual seats.
The growth announced today by Emirates Divisional VP Australasia, Barry Brown, also includes the deployment of an A380 on EK’s second daily Dubai-Brisbane service from 01 October.
“We’re pleased to offer more choice and opportunities for Australians travelling from Brisbane and Perth through the ramp up of our operations,” he said.
EK’s second daily Perth-Dubai flight will boost the carrier’s Australian frequencies to 70 per week, and comes on top of other recent moves including more Melbourne flights featuring Premium Economy, on top of its two daily four-class Sydney A380 services.
