New members of the Tourism Australia Board announced.
The country’s peak tourism marketing body has revealed a new-look executive team to lead Australia’s charge of becoming a more attractive tourist destination.
Penny Fowler has been appointed Chair and Ian Horne made Deputy Chair, replacing Michael Issenberg and Jeffery Ellison respectively.
New blood entering the Board includes Accommodation Australia’s National Policy Director, Jenny Lambert; former Minister for Tourism, Michael Lee; DFAT Associate Secretary, Tim Yeend; and theme park entrepreneur, Peter Laurance.
Departing executives include John Hart and Annabel Dolphin.
The changes follow the reappointment of MD Phillipa Harrison for another five years in August.
