New service to reduce chargeback exposure.
From early next year, Mint Payments will launch Mint Protect, a new service offering chargeback protection for travel agents in Australia and New Zealand.
Mint said the new product will address the unique challenges faced by travel merchants, providing “robust protection against financial risks associated with chargebacks, including supplier insolvency, service non-delivery, and fraud”.
It is hoped the new protection will reduce overall chargeback exposure, streamline risk management operations, and create more business confidence for advisors based in Australia and New Zealand.
