Travellers have been advised to contact their airlines directly.
Whitsunday Coast Airport has cancelled all flights due to heavy rains forecast, off the back of floods in Queensland.
Passengers who were scheduled to travel today have been advised on the airport’s website to contact their airline directly for the latest updates on their flight.
“Due to the high potential for road closures to the Whitsunday Coast Airport and further heavy rain forecast, all flights today (Friday 7th February) have been cancelled,” said the airport on social media.
