CEO Greg Foran will exit the Kiwi carrier after five years at the helm.
A global search is underway to find a replacement for CEO Greg Foran, who has informed the board he will exit on 20 October.
“Leading Air NZ has been one of the greatest privileges of my career, it has been an incredible experience alongside an exceptional team,” Foran said.
The outgoing chief added he feels the carrier is set up well for future growth, despite recent challenges around aircraft engine and supply issues.
Air New Zealand recently warned its problems with grounded aircraft will get worse before they get better.
