SE Asian Bedbank makes move on Aussie agents.
MG Bedbank has announced it will offer its services to Australian travel agents for the first time.
As Southeast Asia’s largest bedbank, the company said it will bring an “unmatched portfolio” of more than 350,000 hotels to the market, including highly sought-after properties in popular destinations like Bali, Singapore, Bangkok, and Phuket.
While MG has previously operated in Australia through partnerships, it has until now never worked directly with Australian travel agents.
Benefits for advisors using the accommodation platform include the flexibility of multiple payment methods, as well as access to the exclusive MG Friends loyalty program and VIP events.
The foray into the Australian agent space is headed up by former Infinity Holidays GM James Whiting, who is now MG’s GM for Australia.
To celebrate the launch, MG Bedbank will host a series of workshops across Australia this month, providing earlybird commission offers and system training.
