Dennis Bunnik to lead updated board for another term.
Two new directors have been added to the Council of Australian Tour Operators’ (CATO) board for 2025/26, with Greece & Mediterranean Travel Centre GM Amanda Highfield and Globus family of brands CEO Chris Hall both joining.
The duo will replace outgoing directors Julie King and Yvette Thompson (Intrepid Travel), who both decided not to stand for re-election this year.
Dennis Bunnik was re-elected unopposed as Chair for his sixth consecutive term, while The Travel Corporation’s James O’Donnell and The Explorer Society’s Martin Edwards have both returned for another term.
Five current directors remain mid-term and were not up for re-election, they include: Lisa Pagotto, Crooked Compass (Vice-Chair); Aaron Zoanetti, Frontera Law; Ingrid Berthelsen, Evolution Travel Collective; Brad McDonnell, Entire Travel Group; and Sean Martin, G Adventures.
“Our board line-up reflects the depth, diversity, and leadership excellence within our membership,” said CATO MD Brett Jardine.
